About JobToolScout

What we do

Picking job software means reading a lot of pricing pages. We read them for you and put the plans side by side, by trade and team size, so you can shortlist two or three tools before you start a trial.

• A five-question quiz that matches your trade, team size, budget and must-have features to the tools that list a fitting plan.
• Guides by trade and head-to-head comparisons with listed prices, features by plan, and who should skip each tool.
• Free calculators for lawn mowing, house cleaning, pressure washing and your hourly rate. They run in your browser and don’t ask for an email.

How we make money

We earn a commission when you sign up through our QuoteIQ links, and other links on this site may earn us one too, at no extra cost to you. That’s how the site pays for itself. We rank by fit, not payout, and we label links to companies we have no relationship with. The details are in our affiliate disclosure.

What we are not

• We’re not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any software vendor we cover.
• We haven’t run these products ourselves. Our write-ups rely on each vendor’s public pricing and feature pages, and we say so on every page. See how we choose.
• We’re not an accounting, tax or legal adviser. Check payroll, tax and licensing questions with a qualified professional.
