Privacy policy
Short version: we don’t ask for your personal information, and what you type into our quiz and calculators stays in your browser.

What we collect
- Nothing you type into the quiz or calculators. They run in your browser. The answers and numbers you enter aren’t sent to us or saved.
- No accounts, no sign-ups, no email collection.
- Email you send us. If you write to hello@jobtoolscout.com, we use your address and message only to reply and to fix what you reported.
Hosting and visit counts
The site is hosted by Netlify, which, like most web hosts, processes standard request data (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to serve pages and keep the service secure. See Netlify’s privacy policy for how it handles that data. We may also use a privacy-focused analytics service that doesn’t use cookies to count page views. If we add one, we’ll name it here.
Cookies
We don’t set cookies ourselves to track you. Other sites may: when you click a link to a vendor, you leave JobToolScout.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links, including our QuoteIQ links, are affiliate links. When you click one, the vendor or its affiliate network may set cookies or otherwise record that we referred you, so we can be credited if you sign up. That happens on their site under their privacy policy. Read more in our affiliate disclosure.
Children
JobToolScout is written for business owners and isn’t directed to children under 13.
