How to price each line
- Mowing: time a few real lawns, add drive time, multiply by your hourly target, add fuel and wear, then add your margin. The calculator shows the formula.
- Cleanups: quote by the hour you expect plus disposal costs. Cleanups vary a lot, so many owners quote after seeing photos.
- Your hourly target: if you don’t know it yet, use the hourly rate calculator.
When a template stops being enough
Paper and email estimates work for a handful of customers. Once you’re sending several a week, a job app saves retyping, tracks which quotes were approved and turns them into scheduled visits and invoices. For lawn work, the feature to test first is measuring from satellite images so you can quote without driving out.
