The formula

Labor hours = (mowing minutes + drive minutes) ÷ 60 Labor cost = labor hours × hourly labor target Direct cost = labor cost + fuel & equipment per job Price per cut = direct cost ÷ (1 − margin %) Weekly (per month) = price per cut × 52 ÷ 12 Biweekly (per month) = price per cut × (1 + uplift %) × 26 ÷ 12 Per 1,000 sq ft = price per cut ÷ (sq ft ÷ 1,000) (1 acre = 43,560 sq ft)

Margin here is profit as a percentage of the price (not a markup on cost). A 20% margin means $0.20 of every $1 you charge is left after the direct costs above. Overhead like insurance, software and marketing isn’t included unless you build it into your hourly target or per-job cost.
